A new feature of the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Web site could help entrepreneurs save money and launch new green enterprises.
The SBA's new site, Business.gov, recently launched "Go Green," a new portal designed to help small businesses make the switch to environmentally friendly operations.
The Web site includes tips on green business practices, a search engine for environmental regulations, and information on how small businesses can save money and conserve the environment. "Go Green" also has resources for green vendors, green product procurement, and making environmental claims.
In addition to the green tools, Business.gov offers information on starting and managing a business, finances, taxes, licenses and permits.
