As the threat of antibiotic resistance continues to increase, infection control is more important than ever. An advocate of public health and the education of infection prevention specialists, Clorox Health is teaming up with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) to help infection prevention specialists working in at risk areas.

The partnership will grant scholarships for five infection preventionists (IPs) in underserved communities within the U.S. and regions hit by natural disasters so that they can attend the APIC 2020 Annual Conference for the first time.

Infection preventionists can fill out an online application for a scholarship here. The deadline for application is Feb. 14.
