Supply chain management company, AFFLINK, has added Scott LeCalsey to head its strategic accounts team—leading the organization’s efforts in the government sector.
A press release staates LeCalsey will assume the role of strategic accounts director, focused on driving new business for AFFLINK and its members through the organization's recently awarded GSA schedule. He will be working closely with members to uncover new opportunities in the marketplace as well as within government procurement offices.
“Our members continue to ask us to invest where we can make the biggest impact,” says Dennis Riffer, company president. “Having Scott as our new leader of the government segment is an answer to that call.”
A 23-year veteran of the industry, LeCalsey brings with him a skill set that incorporates driving efficiencies in purchasing and supply chain processes with regulatory compliance and distribution strategy throughout the wide spectrum of government agencies.
Before coming on board at AFFLINK, LeCalsey has led sales, marketing, and government initiatives at such companies as, American Hotel Register, Scott Paper, MSC Industrial, The National Industries for the Blind, where he cofounded and served as executive director of Outlook Nebraska, a nonprofit corporation that promoted employment of persons with visual disabilities.
LeCalsey received his bachelor’s degree in economics and business management from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pa. He is currently in Corpus Christi, Texas, but will soon be relocating with his family to the Green Bay, Wisconsin area.
