The Carpet and Rug Institute's Seal of Approval testing and certification program for carpet cleaning supplies and equipment welcomes new products.

With the new additions, the SOA program stands at 342 solutions, 333 vacuums, 84 extractors and 94 deep-cleaning systems for a total of 853.

In cleaning solutions, Simplex Janitorial Supplies of Sharon, Massachusetts added the following six new solutions to the Seal of Approval Program: Under Cover Encapsulating Carpet Cleaner, Refresh Rinse and Neutralizer, Purge Spotter Fresh and Clean, Purge Spotter Cherry Almond, Headstart Carpet Pre-Spray and Double Play Extraction Shampoo and Carpet Prespray.

In vacuums, Minuteman International, Inc. a division of Pinegree Grove, Illinois earned SOA approval for three new commercial upright models. The company's Phenom 18" Dual Motor and Phenom 15" Dual Motor each earned Bronze-Level certification. Also earning Bronze Level certifications is the Triple S of Billerica, Massachusetts with their Triple S LAV 24 commercial wide area vacuum.

In deep cleaning systems, Kent Investment Corp. of Ash Flat, Arkansas earned the Seal of Approval for its C4 Quick Dry Carpet Express w/0.4 Tips.
