Erik Akopiantz, chief financial officer for Roadnet Technologies, the Baltimore-based vehicle routing and transportation management software company, has been selected as a 2013 Executive Management winner by SmartCEO Magazine.
 
The annual competition is designed to recognize the outstanding achievement of Baltimore-area chief financial officers, chief information and technology officers, chief operating officers and other chief executive officers. Mr. Akoplantz was among eight local CFOs selected as winners in this category.
 
Mr. Akopiantz manages and directs all financial activities and planning strategies for the routing software company, including the oversight of the accounting, budgeting, treasury, bank relationships, acquisition activities and compliance/risk management functions. He has more than twenty years of progressive experience in the financial and operational departments of various Fortune 500, private equity and start-up organizations across multiple industries.
