Sodexo announced a landmark ten-year partnership with Hamline University. This collaboration, effective July 1, 2024, marks a significant expansion of Sodexo's footprint in Minnesota and a transformative step forward for Hamline University's campus services.
“We are elated to partner with Hamline University and have already embarked on a series of innovations aimed at enhancing student services and overall campus life,” says Dannie Crozier, senior vice president for Sodexo. “Our plans include the introduction of Starbucks Connect Machines, self-checkouts, allergen-free options, a dedicated Halal menu, and a variety of upgraded, diverse menu selections. These initiatives highlight our unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for everyone on campus.”
In 2023, Hamline University undertook a comprehensive survey to gather insights from the university community on how to elevate the campus dining experience. The feedback underscored the necessity to significantly enhance the student experience and prioritize sustainability, among other key aspects. “Sodexo’s proposal addressed these needs thoughtfully, laying the foundation for this new and exciting partnership. We are enthusiastic about collaborating with Sodexo to meet and exceed the expectations of our university community,” says Dr. Patti Kersten, vice president student affairs and dean of Students.
This partnership not only benefits both Sodexo and Hamline University but also establishes a new benchmark for campus dining in the region.
