Some Employees Rather Quit Than Give Up Remote Work

Jan/san distributors who made their sales reps and other office employees  work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic could suffer some unattended consequences for their actions.

According to a survey from FlexJobs, 60 percent of women and 52 percent of men said they would look to quit their job in favor of another if their present employer didn't allow them to continue working from home. The survey also found that 69 percent of men and 80 percent of women think that the option to work remotely is among the most important factors to consider when looking for a new job.

More specifically, the survey found that 68 percent of women would prefer to only work remotely in the post-pandemic world, while 57 percent of men favor that style. Thirty percent of women said they would prefer a hybrid model where they work in the office during some shifts and remotely in others, compared to 41 percent of men asked the same. Just two percent of both men and women said they would like to work in-person full-time.
