Spartan Chemical Company Inc., a manufacturer of sustainable cleaning and sanitation solutions for the industrial and institutional market, announced the promotion of Chuck Moody and Monte Mooers to the role of regional manager.

Before joining the Spartan team, Moody, who has responsibility for the Connecticut region, worked for Staples Advantage where he handled business development for the Rhode Island region for three years. Prior to that, he worked with Idearc Media in Middleton, Mass. in advertising sales. He holds a Bachelors of Communication from the University of Massachusetts.

Mooers joins Spartan as the regional manager for the Portland, Oregon region. Mooers previously managed a retail furniture store in Portland for five years. In addition, he also held the role of general manager at Bally Total Fitness in Portland for six years.
