Spartan Chemical Company, manufacturer of sustainable cleaning and sanitation solutions for the industrial and institutional market, was recognized by Green Seal for maintaining Green Seal certified products for ten or more years.

At a celebration in recognition of its quarter-century anniversary, Green Seal honored over thirty companies for their commitment to sustainable products and solutions. Spartan, a long-term supporter of independent certification organizations such as Green Seal, was recognized for it’s twelve years of offering Green Seal certified products.

The award was presented to Spartan by Arthur Weissman, President and CEO of Green Seal, and Rachelle Carson-Begley, ceremony moderator at The Newseum in Washington D.C during Green Seal’s 25th Anniversary Gala. Spartan Chemical was represented by Bill Schalitz, Vice President of Research and Development and Cali Sartor, Director of Marketing.

Spartan’s Green Seal certified products include a complete line of janitorial solutions from window cleaner to floor stripper. The high-performance, sustainable product line includes five categories of environmentally preferable options. Each has been developed to ensure clean facilities without introducing any negative health effects to the building’s occupants or custodial staff.
