Executives from The Clorox Company, Nouryon and Novonesis will explore the key challenges and emerging opportunities influencing industry's future, during the Industry Leadership Panel at the 2025 American Cleaning Institute (ACI) Industry Convention. The panelists will also provide insights on managing economic uncertainties, adapting to global disruptions and responding to evolving market demands while thriving in a complex and evolving landscape.   

The Industry Leadership Panel will take place Jan. 29 during ACI’s Convention Week, Jan. 27-31, 2025, at the Grande Lakes Orlando in Orlando, Florida.

The panelists are:

  • Rene Garza, senior vice president, Planetary Health Biosolutions, Novonesis 
  • Chris Hyder, president, Health & Hygiene, The Clorox Company 

Also, during the Industry Leadership Panel session, attendees will hear from Bernard Baumohl, Chief Global Economist, Economic Outlook Group, as he presents, Global Economic Update: Shedding Light on Industry's Crucial Impact. 

As Baumohl previews his talk, “The world is in an uproar. Global conflict, natural disasters and worldwide elections are impacting the economy and supply chains. Is there a light at the end of the tunnel?” 

Baumohl, a well-known economist and author, will deliver a comprehensive update on the global economy, offering insights into current trends, risks and opportunities. With his expertise in economic forecasting, Baumohl will shed light on how various factors—such as global growth prospects, inflation trends and geopolitical events—shape the world's economic landscape. 

During his presentation, Baumohl will highlight the significant contribution of the cleaning products industry to the global economy, as it plays a crucial role not only in public health and hygiene but also as a major economic driver.
