Cost is the primary reason cited by companies that have not yet switched to green cleaning, according to a recent poll conducted on issa.com.

In answer to “If you have not made the switch to green cleaning, what is preventing you?” slightly more than 38 percent of respondents answered “cost.” But other responses were not that far behind: Nearly 28 percent gave “products not effective” as the reason they have not made the switch while 15 percent cited “no demand; 36 percent answered “it is all hype anyway.”

The poll reflects responses received through the end of 2007.
