Waterless Co., Inc., a provider of no-water urinals in North America, announced the Top Ten Waterless Urinal Celebrities of 2023. These are prominent or well-known facilities across the country that have installed no-water urinals instead of conventional water-using urinals.
“Many more facilities deserve recognition,” says Klaus Reichardt, CEO and founder of Waterless Co., Inc.
“In recent years, as more facilities embraced sustainability and [enhanced] hygiene in their restrooms, we have seen a significant increase in the demand for waterless urinals.”
Reichardt also makes clear that not all these no-water urinals are marketed by Waterless Co.
“That is not our focus. Instead, our focus is the big picture — how more and more facilities are installing waterless urinals to help protect our planet and natural resources.”
With that said, here are this year's Top Ten Waterless Urinals Celebrities:
1. Mercedes Stadium, Atlanta
2. Statue of Liberty, Liberty Island
3. The Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles
4. Shed Aquarium, Chicago
5. The Waldorf Astoria, Beverly Hills
6. State of Arizona (requires waterless urinals installed in all new and retrofitted facilities)
7. New York Mets Citi Field Stadium, Queens, New York
8. Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California
9. Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena, California
10. Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida
Reichardt says that Arizona is the only state in the Top Ten that mandates the installation of waterless urinals.
"All of the others, both on and off this list, have embraced waterless [urinals] as the way forward. Some building owners and managers are even applying the old adage, "if not now, when?"
