USGBC is pleased to announce the results of the election of officers and members for its 2009 Board of Directors.

At its November meeting, the Board elected the following individuals to serve as officers on the 2009 Board:
• Tim Cole, Forbo Flooring Systems, Inc. (Chair-Elect, a three-year term: one year as President-Elect, one year as Chair, and one year as Immediate Past Chair)
• Richard Graves, Perkins + Will (Secretary, a two-year term)
• Anthony Bernheim, HDR Architecture (Treasurer, a one-year term)

The directors elected by the membership will each serve a three-year term. They are:
• Mark MacCracken, CEO, CALMAC Manufacturing Corporation, elected to the Energy Services seat. This is his second term on the Board.
• Lisa Shpritz, Senior Vice President, Bank of America, elected to the Finance, Surety and Corporate Real Estate seat. This is her second term on the Board.

USGBC's Chapter network has held election in four regions: Upper North East, Northeast Corridor, Florida/Caribbean and South Central. Those elected will serve a one-year term on the Board:
• James D'Aloisio, Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt (Upper North East)
• Charlie Tomlinson, WRT Architects (Northeast Corridor)
• Mike Hess, X-nth Inc. (re-elected, Florida/Caribbean)
• Bob Harris, Lake/Flato Architects (re-elected, South Central)

Congratulations to the 2009 Board of Directors. They will help ensure USGBC's Board embodies the diverse range of talents, experience, and perspectives necessary to lead the transformation of the building industry to sustainability.
