The updated sustainability guide examines green cleaning from a facility management perspective, providing information on the benefits of a green cleaning program and guidance on making the business case for it.
The guide’s recent updates reflect changes and industry trends, and is available for free download from IFMA’s Knowledge Library. It was originally published in 2009 and updated in 2011.
The guide covers the topics of greenwashing, green cleaning equipment, product and service providers and the effects on indoor air quality and occupant health.
With a detailed overview of the implementation process and real-world examples, the 74-page guide offers advice on developing and implementing a comprehensive green cleaning program.
