Network Services Company (NETWORK), a national janitorial distributor, announced the company has been selected a distribution partner of housekeeping supplies for Upper Midwest Consolidated Services Center LLC (UMCSC) - a VHA Supply Network based Non Profit Regional Purchasing Coalition in Edina, MN.
NETWORK will provide UMCSC's locations (including 153 hospitals) with a portfolio of essential housekeeping supplies and solutions through 2020. The relationship will position the coalition to streamline supply chain operations and simultaneously improve their increasing focus on effective and efficient cleaning for improved patient and outcomes.
Individual locations in the UMCSC system have had long standing relationships with NETWORK through their GPO partner, Novation. Because of NETWORK's industry expertise, logistics capabilities, and unsurpassed in-market support, the janitorial supplier was presented the opportunity to form a distribution relationship and broaden its offerings to additional UMCSC facilities.
"NETWORK is strongly committed to helping our healthcare customers achieve continuous improvement, from both a financial and patient outcome perspective. In addition to the supply chain efficiencies that drive business success, NETWORK is well-positioned to provide cleaning expertise that is critical in delivering a clean, safe, and healthy environment of care," said Natalie DePace, Vice President of Business Development for NETWORK. "We look forward to supporting UMCSC in their dedication to providing patients quality care."
