ISSA Hygieia Network, an ISSA Charities signature program dedicated to the advancement and retention of women in the cleaning industry, announced its next virtual Networking and Leadership Conference: Building and Leading Diverse Teams. The conference will be held online on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Central Time.

“Following the success of our first virtual conference in August, ISSA Hygieia Network is thrilled to provide another educational and networking opportunity,” said Dr. Felicia L. Townsend, ISSA Hygieia Network Program Director. “Attendees will learn about the many benefits of building and maintaining a diverse workplace, along with how to take the necessary steps from positive intent to implementing specific actions.”

The ISSA Hygieia Networking and Leadership Conference: Building and Leading Diverse Teams will highlight the value of diverse teams and practical strategies to develop them, and feature opportunities to network, participate in break-out sessions, and more. The event will also feature presentations from two executive leaders, including Kim Stone, general manager of the Chase Center, home of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, and Mike Latham, chairman and CEO of The Service Companies.

The conference aims to bring together women from all levels of the cleaning industry interested in leadership. Early bird registration is open through Wednesday. Regular registration will be open until Nov. 9. To learn more and register to attend the Conference, visit https://hygieianetwork.org/building-and-leading-diverse-teams/.
