NJSSA’s annual golf outing kicked off the event, followed by the NJSSA President’s Reception and Membership meeting that evening, where NJSSA president Hank Josephs presented the first “Bob Stader Lifetime Achievement Award” to the family of Russ Leahy, founder of the Russ Leahy Co., a manufacturer’s representative firm.
Other highlights included the ISSA District I and II meeting, featuring Dr. Michael Workman on “The Art and Science of Sales Negotiating,” and another seminar, “Green Cleaning for a Healthy Bottom Line,” presented by Stephen Ashkin.
“I already received e-mail feedback that wants us to broaden the show to a larger region and even extend hotel stays beyond the week and offer spouse programs,” said Patricia Koziol, NJSSA’s executive director. “So I think we had a hit.”
