ECi Automates Lagasse Transactions

eCommerce Industries Inc., announced the development of an Internet-based private supply network service for Lagasse Inc., a Deerfield, Ill.-based wholesaler.

The service will provide new operational efficiencies for the company and enable reliable Internet-based transactions between Lagasse and distributors using the DDMS® business management software from ECi. Distributors can also transmit purchase orders to the wholesaler and receive electronic order acknowledgements that will automatically update original purchase orders in the ECi business system.

The site retains all of the information from the previous site, but has increased user-friendliness, easier navigation and sourcing, and more relevant information pertaining to specific bird problems and solutions. It also serves as an authoritative resource on bird and animal control with links to articles and customer testimonials.
