Profiles Highlight Noteworthy Distributors
The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) Distribution Research and Education Foundation (DREF) will facilitate interviews with a select group of industry executives. According to the NAW, the purpose of the interviews is to create oral histories, gaining insights from leaders in distribution. Once the interviews have been recorded on audiotape, NAW/DREF will make them available under the title Profiles in Wholesale Distribution.
The interviews, in-depth and face-to-face, will be conducted by Michael Marks, principal partner of Indian River Consulting Group, Melbourne, Fla., and one of DREFs two Fellows. Marks has consulted with industry firms and has been a presenter at numerous conferences.
Wholesaler-distributors are encouraged to participate in the process by nominating executives whom they consider to be among the most successful and innovative in the industry.
