End User Seminars Offered at ISSA
The International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) has announced that Contracting Profits magazine will sponsor a series of educational seminars for building service contractors (BSCs) held in conjunction with ISSA/Interclean-USA 2002 in Las Vegas. Housekeeping Solutions magazine will also develop a series of seminars for in-house cleaning professionals. The seminars are slated for October 16 — the day the trade show floor is open to distributors only. Distributors are encouraged to invite their customers to attend the sessions.

Novozymes Recognized by Technology Council
The New Century Technology Council has named Novozymes Biologicals, a supplier of biotechnology to the jan/san industry, high-tech corporation of the year. The award is one of five given annually by the Council.

AFFLINK Celebrates 25th Anniversary
June 2002 marks 25 years since AFFLINK, Tuscaloosa, Ala., was created by Ernest Williams and Robert E. Keith. Originally called Affiliated Paper Cos. (APC), the company changed its name to AFFLINK in 2000 to reflect its global focus.

CSPA Product CareSM Adds Hillyard
Hillyard Industries and Hillyard Inc., St. Joseph, Mo., manufacturers and distributors of maintenance supplies and equipment, have announced their participation in Product CareSM, a voluntary product stewardship program of the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA).

The Soap and Detergent Association, Washington, has named Kathleen Stanton manager, scientific affairs, and Alison Slatter manager, government affairs.

Sorbent Products Co., Somerset, N.J., has appointed Jacquelyn Cho director of marketing. Cho most recently served as product manager for KIPLING North America, a leading manufacturer of consumer travel bags.

Paul Stewart has joined Bunzl, St. Louis, as manager of special projects, supermarkets. He will be working at Bunzl-Atlanta.

Dosmatic, Carrollton, Texas, has announced the addition of James Erdly as North American industrial sales manager. Erdly has been involved with technical sales for the past 12 years.
