Amrep, Inc., Marietta, Ga., has signed a definitive asset purchase agreement in which the company will acquire brands and assets used by Waterbury, Conn.-based Waterbury Companies Inc. in its North American operations.

Amrep will add TimeMist, MicrobeMax, Touch Less Control, TimeWick and Country Vet brands to its product offerings.

Sheppard Redistribution Inc., Oaks, Pa., has acquired the Kelly Brush Co., Folcroft, Pa. All of the management, sales and customer service staff will join Sheppard.

R.J. Schinner Co., Inc., New Berlin, Wis., reached an agreement to stock Sweetwater, Tenn.-based Midlab Inc. offering of cleaning chemicals and dispensing equipment in all six distribution centers in the Midwest.

Trojan Battery Co., Santa Fe Springs, Calif., announced new authorized distributors in China: Getz Bros., Hong Kong Ltd., JSB Ltd., YHI Corporation (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Link Trade Co., Ltd.

Brush and Clean has expanded into North America, with the opening of its headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and distribution facility in Pennsylvania. Brush and Clean operates in more than 35 countries.

Rochester Midland Corp. (RMC), Rochester, N.Y., has acquired Aqua Pro Water Management Inc., Martinez, Calif. The newly acquired company will merge with the Water Treatment Group of RMC that provides cooling, boiler and closed loop water treatment and services.

Janitors Supply Outlet, Lake Worth, Fla., acquired Chemical Sales, West Palm Beach, Fla.

Dreumex B.V., Oss, Netherlands, acquired Gent-L-Kleen Products Inc., York, Pa. The Gent-L-Kleen plant will continue operations under the direction of current president, Jim Strickler.
