OBITUARY

Albert B. Witt, chairman of the board of Witt Pest Management, Pittsburgh, passed away November 19. He was 93.

Witt was one of five partners who founded Pro-Link Inc., in 1984. He was an active member of the National and Pennsylvania Pest Management Associations and Associated Pest Services Inc.

COMPANY NOTES

Tornado Industries, Chicago, will relocate their inside sales, customer service and production operations into new facilities.

The warehousing and manufacturing will relocate to St. James, Mo., near the St. Louis headquarters for parent company, Tacony Corp.

The inside sales and customer service department will move to a newly created call center in Tacony’s Dallas facility.

Central Sanitary Supply, Reno, Nev., opened a new facility in Reno in October.

Network Services Co., Mt. Prospect, Ill., will move its headquarters to Schaumburg, Ill.

LagasseSweet, Deerfield, Ill., was honored with the Supply Chain Partner Award from Cardinal Health in August 2008.

PEOPLE

Network Services Co., Mt. Prospect, Ill., has named Robert Mitchum CEO and president. Mitchum was previously the company’s COO and president.

Robert A Gail has been named the vice president for North America for APC Filtration, Ancaster, Ontario.

Gail has over 27 years of experience in the commercial industry. Most recently he was president of Continental Commercial Products.

The New England Sanitary Supply Association has appointed Patricia S. Koziol executive director.

She has over 20 years experience in managing state, national and international associations.

Golden Star, Kansas City, Mo., elected new officers during the 2008 board of directors meeting. Steven M. Lewis and Earl D. Julo will share the position of president.

Julo will head the finance and global supply chain activities and Lewis will lead sales and marketing initiatives globally.

The company also named Joe Julo vice president of manufacturing and Gretchen Gradinger Lynch vice president of compliance.

Wausau Paper, Harrodsburg, Ky., promoted Eric S. Leines to vice president, sales and marketing for the company’s Towel & Tissue business unit.
