Frank Featured District Meeting Speaker
David Frank is presenting Smart Street Selling: How to Get and Keep Customers in the Jan/san Industry this year at International Sanitary Supply Associations (ISSA) district meetings. Frank, a consultant who has dedicated his 25-year career to the sanitary supply industry, says hes able to bring information to his seminars that serves manufacturers, distributors and end users. Recently, Frank concluded the Cleaning System Design seminars, also in partnership with ISSA.
I function with all three disciplines of the sanitary supply industry: the manufacturer, the distributor and the end customer, says Frank. ISSA is trying to bring all those disciplines together. For Cleaning System Design, the seminar catered to the facility service provider, but manufacturers and distributors need to know the issues that their customers are wrestling with.
The current economic climate has made detailed customer knowledge imperative for increasing sales, he adds. The biggest issue is becoming literate in understanding customer needs and issues. The people who manage the facilities are ultimately the ones who have the keys to the kingdom. The last of 14 district meetings will be June 27, 2003, in New Jersey.
