New Berlin, Wis.-based R.J. Schinner Co., Inc. has reached an agreement to purchase assets of Clark Springfield, Springfield, Mo. The staff has been offered employment and will remain at its present location.


Tennant Co., Minneapolis, opened a Coatings Technical Center that allows the company to focus more aggressively on its coatings business.

The company has also partnered with ChemMasters, Madison, Ohio, to become the exclusive distributor of its methyl methacrylate coating system. The system will be sold under the Tennant MMA name.


San Diego-based WAXIE Sanitary Supply announced that its distribution facility in Mesa, Ariz., and its inventory center in Salt Lake City have both earned LEED for New Construction Silver Certification.


STARCO Chemical, East Rutherford, N.J., added Inter-Mark Sales as its New England sales representative.


The entire sales team for Spartan Chemical Co., Inc. Maumee, Ohio was recertified Cleaning Industry Management Standard ISSA Certification Expert (CIMS I.C.E.) for Green Buildings.


Coastal Chemical, Sarasota, Fla., has secured the region's sole distributorship to carry the high-performance microfiber cleaning products of Creative Products Inc., Holland, Mich.


United Stationers Supply Co., Deerfield, Ill. has acquired MBS Dev, Englewood, Colo.

MBS Dev will retain its current management team and operate as a separate business unit within United.


Paradigm Group, Syosset, N.Y., has entered into an agreement with Kaplan Inc., New York, to help streamline its green initiatives, and also provide cost effective product solutions through existing distribution channels. Paradigm has submitted Kaplan for recognition through the EPA WasteWise program of which Paradigm is a registered Endorser.


Multi-Clean, Shoreview, Minn., a division of Minuteman International Inc. will work with four independent marketing groups to promote its brand to distributors: The DeBolt Co., Coral Springs, Fla., in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee markets; Demlow Marketing, Houston, in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana markets; Great Lakes Marketing, Holland, Mich., in Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana markets; and Fagan Solutions, Pueblo, Colo., in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico markets.

The H.T. Berry Co., Canton, Mass., hired Jason Machado as a sales account representative.


RD Industries, Omaha, Neb., promoted Dawn Nelson to marketing director. The company also added Angela Brummond as an account manager and Dan Nordstrom as western regional sales manager.


Mooney-General Paper Co., Hillside, N.J., promoted Chris Triolo to vice president of industrial sales. The company also has hired Ken Scott as sales manager.


Tahoe Supply Co., Carson City, Nev., hired Dennis Flaherty as vice president of sales.


Betco Corp., Toledo, Ohio, added Jeff Robertson as marketing manager of building service contractors and retail development.


Peterborough, Ontario, Canada-based Charlotte Products, parent company of Enviro-Solutions, announced a major restructuring of the company's business operations. Mike Sawchuk, current vice president and general manager of Enviro-Solutions will now be responsible for sales, marketing, pricing, customer service and administrative functions for both Enviro-Solutions and Charlotte Products.

In addition, Jim Flieler was promoted to vice president of research, training and brand development.
