Sturtevant, Wis.-based JohnsonDiversey, Inc. has officially changed its name to Diversey Inc.


Maintex, City of Industry, Calif., will celebrate its' 50th anniversary in April. The company was founded in 1960 by graduate chemist Ralph Silverman. Today, Maintex is managed by the second generation of Silverman's, Stu and Linda.

The company is hosting a celebration featuring vendor booths, product displays, live entertainment, historical retrospective and educational seminars.


To accommodate its need for expansion, Rochester Midland Corp., Rochester, N.Y., is moving its facilities to Ogden, N.Y. The move allows Rochester Midland to still operate in Monroe County.


Cherokee Equipment Inc., Washington Township, N.J., was recognized as the 2009 Earth Friendly Products Proline "Manufacturer Representative Firm of the Year" for the second year in a row.


Avmor Ltd., a Laval-Quebec, Canada-based company donated 4,500 containers of hand sanitizer to the Sun Youth Organization food bank.


Northeast Battery, Auburn, Mass., a master distributor of Santa Fe Springs-based Trojan Battery products, will expand its distribution into the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Trojan Battery also announced that WorldWide Battery Co., LLC, Indianapolis, has joined its network of master distributors for Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.


Boreal Solutions, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada presented Algoma University, Ontario, with a certification of accomplishment recognizing the university's commitment to becoming a more sustainable school. The university worked with Boreal and Enviro-Solutions, Peterborough, Ontario, to choose green products.


Tahoe Supply Co., Carson City, Nev., expanded its operations by opening a new regional sales and distribution center in Las Vegas.


Triple S (SSS), Billerica, Mass., has appointed three new companies as member-dealers: Cape Janitor Supply, Cape Girardeau, Mo., TwinSource, Brooklyn Center, Minn., and Consolidated Service Systems, Albuquerque, N.M. Under the agreement, these companies have the rights to market the SSS brand of products in their respective markets.


Bethlehem, Pa.-based CriticalTool awarded Wilmington, Ohio-based R3 Safety as its Supplier of the Year for 2009.


Tolco Corp., Toledo, Ohio, selected Hinton Sales Inc., Norcross, Ga., as the Tolco Rep Group of the Year.


Tornado Industries has moved its headquarter offices from Chicago to West Chicago. It will house the company's general business operations, sales and customer service departments, and marketing division.

Clark National Inc., Elk Grove Village, Ill., hired Chuck Donelson to serve as division president of its Cadillac, Mich., foodservice division.


Diamond Chemical, East Rutherford, N.J., hired Adam Meyers as CFO. He will be assuming Bill Lovatt's duties upon his retirement and will be in charge of all finance related activities.


Nuance Solutions, Chicago, has announced several personnel moves: Brandon Robinson has been added as Region 6 manager for the Southwest Region, including Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma; Par Ricketts has been named vice president of business development; LaKenya Brown has been added to the marketing support team.


Enviro-Solutions, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, hired Greg Sharpe as regional sales manager for Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama.


Mr. Janitorial Supplies Inc., Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, has hired Dane Lawrence as director of marketing.


Swisher Hygiene, Charlotte, N.C., appointed Jeff Rhodes vice president of distribution.
