STOKO Skin Care by Evonik, Greensboro, N.C., gave its 2010 Region of the Year award to the sales team of its North Central Region. Led by Regional Manager David Swanson, the team includes Senior Territory Managers Ken Bartley, Michelle Percival, Eric Tanski, and Greg Tovella.

The company also named Bartley as the Sales Person of the Year for 2010. Runner-up was Percival; third place went to Richard Armour, territory manager for Louisiana and Mississippi.

ProTeam, Boise, Idaho, announced Jeffrey Stone of Access Partners, Azusa, Calif., as the winner of the Mark Reimers Sales Representative of the Year award.

Maumee, Ohio-based Spartan Chemical Co., Inc. is making adjustments in its operations to reduce its carbon footprint by implementing several energy improvements. These include a lighting retrofit with occupancy sensors, a new air compressor system, and a new tank wash water heater.

In addition, the company implemented new methods to improve recycling, decrease water consumption and use sustainable packaging.

Multi-Clean, Shoreview, Minn., recently held a training school for 25 distributor sales representatives. The College of Knowledge LIVE program helped sales reps learn more about the company’s products, green cleaning and value-added sales strategies.

Nichols, Muskegon, Mich., has been awarded the Michigan Green Leader Award by the Detroit Free Press in the medium size business category.

ProTeam, Boise, Idaho, named The RTF Group Inc., Lake Bluff, Ill., as the recipient of the Larry Shideler Manufacturers Rep Group of the Year award.

CleanMaster, Mukilteo, Wash., has merged with U.S. Products, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. CleanMaster equipment will now be marketed under the U.S. Products brand name and available in the company’s traditional black and white colors.

World Dryer Corp. Berkeley, Ill., formed a partnership with Willard Elementary School of Evanston, Ill. The manufacturer donated $15,000 worth of hand dryers to the learning institution, and Willard students designed artwork to decorate the units.

Paxton, Ill.-based Nexstep Commercial Products (Exclusive Licensee of O-Cedar) honored Waldco Sales, Lindenhurst, N.Y., with its 2010 "Sales Rep Agency of the Year."
